Good eve Fellow Taco owners, have a concern when traveling at 60+ mph...hear and feel a constant but subtle 'hum' when the engine is under 'load'. When off the gas pedal, sound quits. 2008 TRD DC Sport w/ 208k miles. A bearing somewhere? Any thoughts or feedback is greatly appreciated!

    Bone Stock.Why mess with perfection?Except...
Damn, thought I'd stumbled into another 3rd gen thread for a minute there. Anyway, wrightflyer, the truck is 8 years old with over 200k miles on it. Could be anything. Probably nothing to worry about though. Tacomas routinely last twice that long. And welcome to TW.

I had a problem like that a while back. Turned out it had nothing to do with engine load, but speed. I had placed a cell antenna on the roof. At a just the right speed, the wind was just right and it started to vibrate and hum. Go figure.
