Let me start this by saying this is hard for me to ask for help. I have been wrestling with this for weeks. I don't like asking for help.
I recently purchased a home and money is extremely tight right now. My Tacoma needs some work, I don't have the know-how or the tools to complete the work.
Here is what I need to do.

Replace left side spindle, upper and lower ball joints (I have the spindle, and both OEM ball joints).

Right side spindle/ball joints were replaced a few months ago by a buddy, but he has since left the state.

Left rear axle inner seal is leaking and needs to be replaced.

Install map light/mirror and wire up.
And maybe most importantly, look over truck and let me know if anything else needs attention.
Is anyone willing to help a old guy who doesn't have the skills to do this?
With money being tight I don't have a lot to spend but maybe we can work something out...
Again, this was very hard to ask, and no worries if there are no responses.
    Thank you for reading.
    Robert

Rear axle seal will be the tuff one because more then likely the bearing will need to be replaced. I have the tool and a press.

If all youre looking for is upper and lower ball joints replaced im set up to knock those out. But if you are looking to do the wheel bearing im not set up for it yet. What is your work schedule like? I'm about an hour trek from glendale. We can also check your brakes and do a once over quick to see what wpuld be up next on your list of safety items.

    Reserected from the dead.
The only one I would worry about is the ball joints. Every 1st gen has leaky rear seals. It won't hurt to let that one wait.

The original spindles have 248,000 on them, a friend of mine said he thought I might a bad bearing as I (we) can hear a "whomp, whomp" noise that is affected by speed. Even tried another set of tires and still the same noise.
I picked up another set of spindles from a guy in Prescott, who was going another direction with his build...those bearings only have 20,000 on them. Figured that that would be the easiest way, since it takes so much to press them in.
Just need to put the upper and lower ball joints in the "new" spindle.

Should the bearing be replaced also? How about the other side? Do you need to do them in pairs?

I can help with the rear axle bearing. No need to do the other side if it's not leaking. I just have to get my tool back from a buddy I let barrow it. We'd have to meet up in Phx at my dads shop, 19th ave and I-10.
