see i would think if the coil was bad it would cause 2 cylinders to misfire ?

The coil that misfires, usually fires through the boot, in to the metal spark plug tube. The coil is just the small plastic part, on top. You can remove the boot from it, just like taking it off of a plug other side. It's usually not the coil that fails, essentially just the boot connected to the coil. Unfortunately, when you buy the boot from Toyota, it comes with a free, brand new coil attached to it. I pay cost plus 10% at work, and got mine for $90.00 each.

so its still skipping ... replaced the coil changed the plugs. should i try a tps sensor ? the code is still p0306 .. so cylinder number 6 is still misfiring.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
TPS shouldn't cause this. I think the cam shaft sensor would though.

ide like to know how this turns out, bc my idle has been acting up. its a little rough and rpms fluctuate and get pretty low. (almost 500rpm)
