humming noise

2007 when driving i hear humming noise and when i take foot off gas truck wants to slow down whith out using brake

 

My truck slows down w/o the brake as well, but that is normal drive train drag. Hum could be any number of things from tires to bearings. You gotta dig a lil deeper to diagnose the issue. Where do you here this humming coming from? Is your truck all stock, or do you have a lift or drop? Do you have stock tires, or upsize? Is this truck 4wd? Does noise go away when in 4wd? When it hums, is it with the speed of the vehicle, or does it change pitch at any point in time? Do you get a vibration? Does the hum go away when turning? Test some of these and repost what you find. Good luck

 

the hum sounds like coming from front . even in 4x4 or trans in N. going down hill with out gas truck wont coast faster no vibes . maybe bearings ill get it checked out . thanks texoma
