I have a 2008 dcsb 2wd. I recently noticed that there was a humming noise coming from under the truck every time I step on the gas. Any one know what it is?

We just had a local member have her carrier bearing go out. Hers was 2wd but I think she had an lsd diff.
Does it hum all the time or just sometime.
More pronounced at lower speeds, turning sharp?
    Or just all the time?

I mostly hear it at low speeds. I recently got bigger a/t tires, could that cause it?

It's possible. But it probably was starting to go bad before the tires you just may not have noticed it.
Try the search feature on carrier bearings. If I'm not mistaken...ive seen several of these threads.
