Wow, good man!! So you must have been the other guy that Eric kept talking about. He said another guy was looking into one of the front bumpers also. The summit looks awesome also, just I liked the looks of the predator one. Personal tastes I guess. Please post up your bumper on your truck when you get it!!

No, not yet. Got a call from the shipping company today, so I have to give them a call and fix what ever the issue is. Maybe they do not know where Maine is, lol. I will keep you guys posted when I get it/ painting it/ mounting on my truck. Stay tuned.

Had a good time this past weekend fishing with my brother, and cousin. My cousin has the red 02 Tacoma. Caught some 2 1/2 to 3 lbs smallmouth bass, along with white perch. The topper of it all though, was I caught 2 Brown trout also!! I have never caught a brown trout before. Had a lot of fun driving my truck/ fishing. It was good to get away from work for a little bit. Had to stop at the windmills for a few pics also, since it was right on our way!! Well, the wait is over!!! Got my Relentless Fab bumper in today!! Goal is to get it line-x sooner than later. Then I need a winch for it. I am thinking of the Warn VR8 8,000 lbs winch for it. 3/4" recovery points on it (for shackles). Can't wait to ditch the stock rusted out bumper and bolt this bad boy on!! More pics to come, and am going to need ideas on how to mount my license plate to the front bumper. It is Maine, so you are required to have 2 plates. Sick!!! Mine came in about two weeks ago. I'm like you, I need ideas for the front licence plate. Have you considered HF Badland Winch? They have great reviews, my buddy has one and it's worked the few times that he's had to use it. Also, I'm going to spray paint mine w/Rustoleum bed liner. Well, I'm not going to do, my buddy is at his shop.

Nice!! You are right in CA, so the bumper did not have far to go, lol. Yeah I live in Maine, so I had to wait a little bit for it to arrive/ shipping. I am going to go with the Warn VR8 8,000 lb winch for mine. Lifetime warranty on it, and it is like $450 with steel cable. Add on another $100 for synthetic rope!! I will keep you posted on it/ license plate set ups. You keep me in the loop to, incase you find a better way to mount it.

@quetzal Looking into something like this. But you would need the rollers vs the flat fairlead.

Here is the another way with the fairlead license plate!! I might go this route, idk

I have been having issues with when my truck is idling, popping/ misfire. It has 100,000 miles. So I asked around, a few guys said cracked block, another guy said check the spark plugs. So I checked the spark plugs first, found out the Original ones had a gap of .060 to .065, not good. They should be .031. So I bought brand new NGK plugs, checked the gap on them and put them in the truck. Truck idles mint now, no popping/ misfiring out of the tailpipe now. Love when you do not know what it could be, and you replace an inexpensive part, and that fixes the issue. I am still waiting on getting my front bumper line-x. Just have not set up a date yet for them to do it.

So I ordered my Warn VR8000 winch the other day. $474 free expedited shipping, it was the best deal out there. Should be here by the 28th of August or sooner. Going with the steel cable for now. Going to swap out the steel for synthetic rope down the road. Only going to be using the winch like 2-5 times a year, so not much use. Also my bumper is getting Line-xed on the 4th of September. Then the front bumper/ winch is going on the truck!!

Total cost for the diff breather mod was like $20. I did the same for mine also ran it to the gas cap area, and called it a day, haha. No it was a little harder than that. I bought 10' or 1/4" gas hose (so I would have enough), and installed the new union into the diff. From there I hose clamped the gas hose onto the breather, and ran it through the rear diff brake line housing (will get pics soon), and up through in-between the gas tank/ frame. I zip tied it in place (black zip ties, not white:rolleyes:, attention to detail is a must). When I zip tied it up by the gas tank/ frame area, I have the hose touching the gas tank, and not the frame. I would rather it rub a little on the gas tank, vs the frame(just how I am, I am paranoid about the frames, lol. Also when doing this mod, I jacked the truck up, so the rear wheels where off the ground, to make sure I had enough hose for when it flexes/ suspension drops. I will get some pics man, just been busy with work. Trying to get caught up on work right now is a killer!!

PS, the rear diff is the only thing I still have to paint that is rusted on my truck. Have the paint, just need the time to paint it.

Well that step is done primmer/ line-x the front winch bumper. Now on to installing the Warn VR8000, on to the bumper, then the bumper to the truck!!. Picked up some OEM Red toyota Anti-Freeze today (my brother is changing his anti-freeze on his 02 Tundra, that is why so much). I have already collected the front/ rear diff fluid, transfer case fluid, and anti-freeze. All that is left is the transmission fluid for it. I will keep you all posted on the bumper/ winch progress/ take lots of photo's installing it.

Since the line-x is so thick, I am having to take the dermal/ lightly sand down the bolt holes for the bolts to fit. Also, my bolts for the hawse fair lead, are to short. So I am going to need to run into town soon, and buy some grade 8 bolts for it. Getting impatient to bolt it up already!!
