How sturdy are they? Do they only have support on the ends or is there a third or even fourth support bracket? I know the Hunter bars are supposed to be rated for 500lbs.

2 place I have bought stuff locally. Homan Motors in Eastgate or my buddy owns a truck accessory place in Amelia OH called ExperTint. I would try Holman Motors truck accessories. They can just about get anything in you want and the prices cannot be beat.

They feel very sturdy. There are 3 brackets for each side, and they bolt into the factory locations.
I am only 160 lbs, but i stood an them and and bounced around and there was no play in them at all.
the pictures on the ad would make it seem that they only mount to the truck on the 2 ends, but they actually look just like the ones here: http://truckgeardirect.com/?ITEMID=YCFT-8512 and bolt to the truck in the same way.

I've only had them on for a few weeks, but i would recommend them!
