Great Pix from all, I lost my land lease this year a few days before the season opened. I have hunted state land a few times, I have seen a few good deer nothing in bow range. Keep the pix coming

We estimated his hoof weight between 275-300lbs. Had a hard time getting my gear and that deer in my previous truck (3rd gen). Quartered him to get it all in.

Going out for one last pheasant hunt next Friday-Sunday then it closes. I'll hunt ducks and geese until that closes mid Jan, then on to ice fishing, lol.

I didn't want people to see my shit eating grin, lol. (Posted wrong pic.. )

I put 275/65/18 Cooper AT3's on the stock rims right now. I may get a spare set of GM stock 17" wheels and run 285's next year. I did score a 'brand new used' ARE mid-high topper for 1/2 of what they cost new. Color matched and all. Guy bought it and realized after the fact it won't fit in his garage..

Bilstein is releasing 6112/5160's for the Siverado in a few months, so I think I'm going to do the same thing as I did with my old Tacoma. I liked the way they handled on the terrain/roads I drive. Lift the front about 1.25-1.5", remove the black air 'chin', put 17" wheels and 33" ST/Maxx's on it.

We drove to CO (Estes Park) for Christmas, came back yesterday. 1/2 through Wyoming we encountered 60mph+ crosswinds up I-25 which created a ground blizzard. We then hit heavy snow outside of Bozeman MT and had to detour off the interstate. Basically 300 of my 800 mile trip was in 4wd. 4 occupants in the vehicle, luggage and gifts in the back, topper on the truck in high crosswinds and I still averaged 18mpg. F*ing unreal. Waaaaaaaaaay better truck than my old 3rd gen. Waaaay better...

Goose hunting for the last time for the year. Today and tomorrow. They sucked right into our decoys. We limited out in less than 2 hours.

Anyone interested in a Savage 111 LRH 6.5x284 PM me for details. Proven shooter with load data for multiple loads at half MOA or better.

$750. Brand new cheapest I found was $900 bone stock and no smith work. I have pages and pages of test loads when I was developing.

Best load was a 3 shot .19 group at 100 yards.

    Spread the word. Thank you!
