I drew a Roosevelt Elk tag for this year! Only 5 hour drive from home too.

My fiancé says if she hears the word "elk" one more time ....

Haha no she's a keeper for sure. Our wedding is two weeks before my usual moose fly in next year and she insists I go hunting and we go overseas for our honeymoon when I get back with her meat. Haha

Well the Elk hunt was a bust but I harvested a couple Island Blacktail deer... they have to be the tastiest things on earth. Not the biggest though. IMG_0971.jpg

Thanks! My buddy shot a bigger 3 point 100 meters up the road 90 seconds after I got mine.

I've been working on my third and final deer, but it has to be a doe, using archery or shotgun, in very specific special zones. Two more weekends left to get it done.

Wyoming. Just outside of Kemmerer. There were moose everywhere. It's my buddy Tom's. He is a stone cold killer. Here is a cool shot with the Tacoma. IMG_20180921_191137_607.jpg

Yes. Two were one buddy and the sheep was another. I had an archery antelope that I did not fill and my wife has a spike bull hunt going on as we speak.
