The morning of the kill. Shot him at 88 yards, quarted hard away from me. The 45-70 460 grain HSM bear load put the smack down on him!

Thanks Will! Unfortunately, they don't always bleed like this. I shot multiple deer with my .45-70, but none of them bled like this big boy did.

I shoot Slick Tricks when I bowhunt and they leave an awesome trail. But this blood trail was like someone opened a bucket of red paint and walked through the woods pouring it out! lol

I do the same. was fair money but the market is saturated with them and prices are very low.

And what do the buyers do with them? Here in Alabama, the hogs have just begin to infiltrate this state and Alabama doesn't want them here. I've hear horror stories of hogs causing tons of damage to farm land and just land in general. You can hunt them here, but way down south and not as plentiful as places that are overrun with them.

If I see a hog when I'm deer hunting, I'm gonna lay smack down on em!

This was a number of years ago but the story was they ship them overseas BACK to Russia etc. so they can have hog hunting.

The sale stations are contracted to certain slaughter plants. They are processed and shipped overseas.
