With hunting season right around the corner I'm Looking to create some sort of custom holder for my bow in the bed. Would like to intergrate my bow case in to it somehow. It's just a plastic case that opens up and clips shut. Anyone do anything similar or seen anything like this??

i keep mine in the case just a simple foam padded plano case and let it bounce around in the bed ( about a inch between case and fender wells on both sides) i also have my climber and all my clothes and other random hunting things i do and dont need in there as well. but have not had any issues with sights being off yet.

I have one of those on my mtn bike, but not sure I'd trust it on the truck. I have a padded bow scabbard for use with horses. It's just a bow shaped heavy nylon sack with padding and one end is open. The bow just slides in and out. It has straps for securing it to the horse. I just hook those straps to the cheap gun rack in my back window inside the truck. The bow is secure and is easily removed and replaced. Makes shooting grouse along forest service roads a breeze (and the occasional deer).

I leave mine in the bed in a padded case, I have a shell on my truck though so its protected.

I have seen jeeps with bow mounts on the hood. Its not great for the bow or security! but it looks pretty bad ass on a jeep.

You got me thinkin bout bow season now! Starts Oct. 1 in my area.

I could fab up something out of flat bar to do this for you. Just shoot me a message with what your case looks like and some dimensions. I can even finish it up by powder coating it so you dont ever have to worry about rust.

    Yes @JKO1998 you.
I have had multiple item stolen in my expanded archery spots..camera, stand..
I would not dare to leave my bow at my stand when I'm not there.
I wish I could get away from humans but our expanded spots are all intown.

I have a SKB case with the form fitted bow insert and it does quite well keeping my bow from being damaged. It would be pretty cool to have a way to keep it secure in the bed as the locks on my campers back glass really only stop the mildly curious.
