Yeah I would like to hold my head up and say I ain’t jealous but I am. Lol I’m thrilled he could get him. We have some really good deer in the eastern half of the state but they are hard to hunt in the Appalachian mountains. Typically for us a 140 class is a good buck he is a 185 and some trash on the back side of the rack. I would really like to hunt some of the deer in TX. The axis deer are beautiful some of the pics on this thread are awesome. I would want a full body mount standing in the corner of my living room.

Never been more proud of a doe haha. Shot this one with Grandpa’s pre-64 Winchester 30-30. Such a cool gun and special hunt for me. First time ever taking a deer with iron sights, I like the extra challenge  70yds and dropped her like a bag of hammers.

Very nice video. I shot my first deer when i was 12 with a Winchester model 94, but in 44 mag. 2 does, 2 shots, 7 seconds.
I will never forget that day.
Congratulations on a successful hunt, with a very personal touch. Grandpa would be proud.

My next goal is to shoot a nice buck with it! It’s funny how you never forget shooting your first deer.

You are the man. Good hunt. Congrats. Luckily we don’t have a hog problem yet. Pretty much every hunter treats hogs like a pest and if we see one we do our best to kill it. It’s an invasive species and it’s fair game whenever.

Don’t think I posted my buck from earlier this season. Main frame 8 with split brow scored 140 6/8 and estimated at 5.5 years old. My personal best!

hahaha thank you! My dream buck is a slick 8 that goes 150” so I didn’t miss by that much on this guy

I know what you mean. There was no question when he stepped out. Thank you! You got it right, it’s great to see other hunters with deer on the ground! This was right before I shot

Very interested in if this works well in 2 categories.

    1. Do they detect it
    2. Can you see at 50-100 yards well enough to shoot with traditional scope.

    Please keep us updated.
