So...any hog hunters around here? I can't wait to see how the bed of my 'yota can handle a 500lb wild boar. :D

Not much of a deer hunter to date but after the wife did $2200 damage hitting a doe; I am buying a freezer. Of course she had made it off of our twisty county highway and on to the straight interstate highway where we have never seen a deer. Deer might have made it if the car behind her hadn't finished it off. One of my co-workers hit one in town the same day and did $4400 damage to a RAV4.

Good news the need of another vehicle while her Cherokee gets fixed gave me a reason to move up the buy a new truck date for me. My 88 Chevy K1500 (my $1500 haul sh*t in truck) averages about 12 MPG and with 200k on it I really didn't want to drive it 60 miles a day any more than I had too.

I have my meat in the freezer. I fed them all year. Soy beans, corn and acorns make for tasty deer.
Beans are up to 11.51. it would be cheaper to buy a prime steer. But where is the fun in that?
