Huntington, WV metro area BS, Trails, Meets, etc...

They've actually started allowing Tacomas into other parts of the world......even WV.

They MIGHT even allow you in.

Hundred of miles of trail for all sorts of orv's in WV....Including trucks/Jeeps. About as much as any eastern states.

 

I just looked. Not 5 minutes ago.

Anything worth driving to, that allows vehicles wider than 50", is no closer than RRG.

 

That's what happens when you live 50 miles outside of Bumfuk Egypt.

Just got wind of another good spot in Medora Indiana...90 minutes from my house....

 

Aside from driving 45 minutes east, to Charleston, there's more tech and people right here than most other places 45 minutes in any other direction.

Did some trails there a long time ago. Maybe up towards Barboursville too ?

I remember several places we used to try. Probably never be able to find them now on my own. My buddy was in the pipeline business and he knew all the spots.

All the good spots in Ashland, that I used to take questionable 2wd vehicles and even more questionable ladies, have been gated off with no way around or turned into housing/business.

Saw a newer FJ this morning behind me. Every freakin LED turned on
What I could see of it, when not blinded, was a front bumper and maybe lift/tires. Blue with a black roof.

It was right behind me. Came off US 52 into the west end and turned into Tudor's.

 

Looked for a more appropriate thread, but this one has "BS" in the title, and is actually active (unlike most others).

I've spent quite a bit of time over the years out in Bath County, and I'll be back out there soon, but this may be my last trip that way.
As a non-KY resident, I'm wondering what the local gun shops require for magazine purchases...
Any input on the subject?

Capacity restrictions aren't a "thing" here. Amount of magazines purchased at one time will likely vary by the store you purchase them.

 

I like all the Kentucky people in here trying to fool themselves into thinking KY is actually any less of a hilljack shithole than WV. They're virtually the same state, just flipped.

My friend's question was more about any sort of residency check while purchasing a mag or two (nothing too unreasonable as far as quantity goes).

 

Oh, nah, none of that silly shit here either. Ohio is maybe only slightly more lib than KY or WV, but I doubt they'll need ID for buying mags.
Never been carded for mags or ammo that I recall.

I can walk into a store that sells the super short boom sticks, give them dead presidents printed on cotton or a plastic card, show them my CCDW license, and walk out. WITHOUT a background check!

Only time I've seen magazine sales limited in Ohio is when pmags have been on sale for $9. Cincinnati is also one of the most liberal cities in the state, so if that was a thing anywhere I'd expect it here.
