I guess the weather people are saying the flooding that may come will be the worst of this storm ....not the wind?? Up to 9ft possible in some parts

 

I remember back in 2004 running a charter out Islamorada Fl Keys bad storm came up 6 pax and 2 crew seas about 10 feet occasional rollers 12/14 foot entire bow of a 65 ft sportfisher going under water...then breaking over the salon cabin and bridge.....Major pucker factor....winds that day were about 50 knots

He was actually talking to several of the Brevard Deputies that were at the shelter and they were saying damage was minimal considering the event.
