How's the surf? Anyone getting good waves? I saw Miami beach got good yesterday? I'll be there next week but there will probably be no more swell left by then :(

If it's windy it's gonna suck anyway. Gotta be before or after the storm. Miami was closed too yet 300 guys went surfing...

Do you usually get flooded out during storms? Or are you high enough?

About 2 miles from me. Jax beach seems to obviously be getting it the worst.
Our power went out at 10am

Wasn't "that" bad but I guess depends on where you are. The storm is moving out of our area and honestly as far as wind and rain I have seen worse from summer storms...the surge at the beach though is what's killer

Altamonte Springs here....We lost a 6 foot section of our fence but we never lost power. This was nothing like what they were saying it was going to be.

Hope you have some rise in elevation from the waterway. The storm surge could be bad up there.

Eyewall just about to pass Fl/GA border. Moving due North now. Cat2, but the worst section of the storm will start to hit SC overnight. Looks like 2am to 2pm as it turns NE. Some of the models don't show a turn, so the 8pm update will be critical.
