Went out after the bridges opened around 2. Swell had already dropped a lot from the am, but still solid overhead sets coming in. Grabbed a few pics, still no internet but power came on a few hours ago so it's screenshots from my computer.

We are all hunkered in in Summerville (outside of CHS---about 20 miles from scott)...........I am tired af.........I still have power but that rain is a beast! I hope I just did the last pool level drain! We are also having to watch for the trash that is scoping the hoods............several have been busted so far...........and the sheriff of my county is LOOKING for them..........if they find any, they will FB shame them! Most of the neighborhood I am in stayed put! All of us are watching out for each other. I am NOT looking forward to the morning. Too many memories from Hugo......

Expecting landfall of the eye within the next hour somewhere between Beaufort and Charleston

already setting storm surge records in Savannah, with more records in jeopardy along the SC coast. Reported flooding, and flash flood warnings up to 100 miles inland. At least 1 tornado warning already over 100 miles away from the eye wall. Also reporting a collapse of an eye wall, but they believe a second eye wall is in place, or forming

2 deaths so far reported in SC

100K + without power so far as well.

To the TW folks who have sheltered in place, and to those with family members in the area...please check in as soon as you can

I am betting he is asleep or without power...............the closer to the beaches, the less power it seems. Hoping for the best for him and the others out there!
