    im in wilmington nc.... so im not getting it nearly as bad as y'all did. but its starting to make its appearance here. just took the taco up to the beach (or whats left of the beach). pretty crazy. i can only imagine what the southern half experienced. hope everyone is okay.

    I'm almost at 6" in Raleigh, NC and the wind has started to pick up. We've got a Creek that runs around our house, like a moat, it's crazy high. A couple trees have started to lean, probably won't make it much longer...

    Finally just got internet back, yay!!!! Got power surprisingly fast yesterday night. 24 hours sure does make a difference, I've been taking down shutters, cutting limbs, cleaning the house, etc for the past 2 days and think it's all about done. Here's some pics from yesterday and then today:

    The Gulfstream really played a huge role in saving Jacksonville and Georgia area s. The storm followed the warm water away from the coast. gulf-stream.jpg
