No longer in Florida anymore, but I have my fingers crossed for you guys. I remember the bad storms very well. Opal and Ivan stick in my memory the most. Ivan was the toughest I have ever dealt with.
I doubt this one will turn into a Hurricane Party, but I hope so!!! God Speed

Im from Florida, I'm not scared of hurricanes. If the coast wasnt under mandatory evacuation, I'd be down there this weekend. See you in May, beardo.

Dont get me wrong, I respect that bish, but if I ever go back to being a coaster, I know how to prepare. Hurricane coming? Smoke/cook all the meats!

Hell, just going through Columbia, SC's 1000 year flood exactly a year ago was a lesson... I wont buy $300 in groceries, mostly meat, ever again. Lost my entire fridge and freezer, should've remembered that from hurricane life in Florida. Oh well.

Have you read the details of your policy? Does it include hurricanes, floods, etc and other acts of God or are those specifically excluded? Hope you are right, but you might want to inform yourself now and have your insurance policy and paperwork all in good order before you have to use it for filing a claim and rebuilding.

Most home owners insurance covers everything but flood damage. You have to buy that insurance separately.
