    As of right now in south Plainfield Nj. (google map it people.) there has been hardly any rain and a lot of wind. Getting progressively stronger. Branches already down in my street. Good luck to all riding this out with me and my town. Be safe

    Just a lot of wind and rain here in Cranford. Work for me and the wife closed today. Dog just woke me up. She must be scared as she's laying with her head in my lap. Even though I know they said the Rahway River is going to be a major threat, I'm more concerned for my parents (in Wall) and my sister (in Brick) being that close to the ocean.

    Raining steady outside of Baltimore here. Too bad it's not snow. One of my favorite winter pastimes is to go out exploring the county roads during blizzards. I always bring a tow rope to help pull cars out of ditches and banks. Good times.

    At 4 a.m., PennDOT closed the on and off ramps to I-95 from Broad Street.
    A Level 2 driving restriction began at 5 a.m. in the state of Delaware. Only essential personnel are allowed on the roads. If you're caught driving in the state, you could be fined. You could even face jail time.
    Driving bans are also being enforced in Atlantic and Cumberland Counties in New Jersey.
    Mayor Nutter announced on NBC10 that starting at 10 a.m. speed restrictions of 45 mph or less will be in place on I-76, I-95, the Vine Street Expressway and Route 1.
    SEPTA, New Jersey Transit, Patco, Amtrak Northeast Corridor, Dart Bus and Paratransit are suspended Monday.
    We'll keep you updated with the latest closures and restrictions as Sandy moves into the area.
