Husky X-act Countours are my favorite of all the liners I've had in various vehicles. It does seem like they may have changed the material on them though. The fronts in my 3rd gen are a very thick rubber material. I ordered the rear liner a month or two after the fronts and that one almost feels like a hybrid of the older Weatherbeaters and the material my front liners are made out of. It's still not as rigid as weather beaters but isn't quite as thick or the same finish as the front. Still better than the OEM rear mat. I have no experience with the newer Weathertech XP or whatever they're called. They may be just as good as the X-act countours. I've always found Husky to have a bit better fit than Weathertech though.

    weather beaters installed

out the box i let let them sit in the sun for 30 mins and then bent them into shape to better fit, also i clipped off any “spikes” on the underside that weren’t touching carpet, mostly the parts that lay on top of the plastic by the door sill

    10/10 perfect fit

That's no bueno. Their 3d scanner must have been bumped that one time lol. I am hoping whenever mine come in they are not as bad. Let us know if the Lasfits are any better

Are the Tacoma branded ones expensive? Mine came with the truck, they don't reach as high as Husky or Weathertech, but still a good fit. I just photos of the rear, somebody was asking me how it covered the whole width, but was 2 piece.

Worst thing about the Husky's is they took away my new car smell. Gonna take them out and let them breath for a couple weeks.

The front not as good, they barely cover going up under the pedals. Slush and snow will fall behind. IMG_5403_Original.jpg

Interesting. Mine didn’t smell at all.

I’ve noticed WeatherTechs having a strong smell, I’d usually let them off gas in the garage for a day or two. The Husky’s didn’t need that

I ended getting my rear husky x-act mats earlier this week and put them in yesterday. Looks like a pretty good fit to me, especially for mats I will never see 99% of the time. IMG_9353.jpg

I have Lasfit in my wife’s 4runner and have been happy with them. Although it doesn’t see as much mud or dirt as mine.

I’ve had weather tech and husky x acts. I think a lot of the molds on a specific example make a difference. I’ve had one of each in non Toyotas fronts be perfect and the second rows terrible and flimsy on the edge. Bad enough where it would catch the kids feet on the edge getting in.

I have front only husky x-acts in my 3rd Gen and like them a lot.

My heel wore a hole through x-act around 100k miles in my F350 and they warrantied it out easy enough.

The hard plastic of the weather techs scratches show more in the long run, but when new look a little nicer.

Custom Husky | Gator WeatherBeater or X-Act Rear Replacement Emblem Sticker

1 week update: the husky logo for these mats have raised lettering, not logo inserts like previous models, which gets in the way of the custom logo inserts sticking properly. had to go at it with a razor to flatten out the letters but after that it's been good.

I got Husky Weatherbeaters for my Tacoma. I was a little disappointed in the quality. They are really thin and plastic. I had the classics in my old Tacoma. I thought the Weatherbeaters would be more like the classics, really thick and durable. The fit of the Weatherbeaters is excellent, and they look pretty good installed in the truck. My wife’s Highlander needed new liners, so I ordered X-act Contours. They are so much nicer. They are thicker and have a softer feel. Spend the extra money on Husky X-act. So worth it! The wife had WeatherTech floorliners in a Rav 4. Dirt would stain them, and they never looked clean, no matter how much I scrubbed them. The sides of the WeatherTech curled up after about a year.

I reluctantly bought them again via Amazon as you couldn’t beat the price and of course so easy to return if they suck like the last ones I got. I truly hope to be a Husky fan. We shall see. However if they don’t fit perfectly they are going back. I can’t stand mats that are bumpy and look bad.
