Honestly the factory all-weather mats are nice but they just don't compare to the Husky's or Weathertech's as far as protection goes. I'm going to try the Weatherbeater mats but I have a feeling that I'll want the nicer ones once they're in stock.

The factory mats just don't hold the water from melt on your shoes to stay in the confines of the mat as well as these two products do. They are allow you to dump the water out, keeping the carpet dry.

I've had weathertechs before and I think the 2016 taco mats are as good or better ... I give them a +1 for the "Tacoma" label and another +1 for fitment.. you should check them out they are very very nice. Just sayin...

I could find nothing that compared to what Husky weather beaters does. Yes, they look better, yes they fit better. But in our state, we get tons of snow and slush and are always carrying it into the car. I may be missing something but I see no Toyota offerings that make a well to hold the water in and keep the carpet dry.

Yep, that's the biggest plus I see with them. I'm way down south, so I don't see any snow lol, but it does rain a ton down here and it's really nice to just pick up your mat and dump the dirt out of it and wash it off, and be done. Probably the best investment you can make for the interior of your truck IMO.

I have the Husky X-Act Contours. Very happy with them. Needed to clean them last Monday. Just took them out, hosed them off, let them dry, and they looked as good as the day I bought them. Perfect fit for Tacoma also.

I ordered mine straight from Husky Liner. I called the 800 number on the site because they don't have them on their site yet.

No option for 2016 Tacoma on the website...

Do they use the OEM anchor?

The back one piece weathertech floor liner from my 14 fits great in my 16. The passenger side front is close as well as drivers side.

I was just doing some research on the husky liners earlier tonight. I was looking at the weatherbeaters and from what I've read on Amazon, it seems as though the weatherbeater is made from a hard plastic, and the x-act contour is made from the soft rubber material. Can anyone confirm this who has used them? Hard plastic seems like it would be slippery when wet and cheap feeling.

I have the hard plastic weather beater. Plastic can be made with patterns that grip well. The advantage of plastic over rubber is how well they wear and how easily they clean. Had them for 11 years in a 4 Runner and they barely looked worn under foot. They held thier color very well. Also, and this is important to me; they hold their shape better which allows you to empty the well of water easier.

If your comparing the weathertech digifit with the oem all weather mats, I disagree. Not only does the digifit has a clean look but with the elevated sides, It contains dirt/water from getting on your carpet. Oem is rubber and digifit isnt but has good grip. Also, very easy to clean.
