Have anyone placed the xacts floormats that was designed for the auto placed them in their manual? If so how does it fit? Does the auto and manual have the same foot rest?

I can't speak to the x-acts specifically, but mats specifically designed for the manual are pretty important. I initially tried the weathertechs designed for automatics - the dead pedal covering was too thick and interfered with the clutch motion and the back (towards the firewall) went too high and again interfered with clutch travel. They weren't totally unusable since the friction point is higher up but were hazardous.

Next, I bought and kept the husky weatherbeaters since they're literally the only floor liner in that style that fit. I love them, but I still have some issue with clutch pedal travel (starting the vehicle, i.e. ignition, is spotty because the clutch is a hair off the floor and that's enough to keep the Taco from starting). I don't have interference with the dead pedal cover though.

How does the passenger side floor mat stay in position, does it move around when passenger is riding? I made the mistake of ordering the Toyota weather floor mats when ordering the truck, the passenger side slides around all the time.
