I was cleaning out my truck this morning and noticed I’ve worn a hole in my Husky X-Act Contour liner on the drivers side where my heel sits below the gas pedal.

Anyone have a similar issue? How was the warranty / replacement process with Husky?

I emailed them about this today but wait until tomorrow to call since it’s Memorial Day.

I kind of surprised these mats only lasted 2.5 years considering how pampered I keep my truck. I work in an office and am usually wearing dress shoes when I drive. It’s parked in a garage 99.9% of the time - parking garage at work and my garage at home.

That’s why I went with weathertech.

From boots to normal shoes, the mats still look new (ish) kinda dirty right now...

    Yes.
Curious to see what their customer service is like. Keep us updated, been waiting to pull the trigger on a set of these but I haven’t seen any long term reviews

They do say "guaranteed for life" on the logo so you should be covered

The weathertechs have there own set of problems. They scuff, shrink and curl.

The ones in my 1st gen looked like trash after two years

Agreed but I think I have to pay to send them the old defective mats back. Hopefully they’ll cover the cost of shipping them back. I’ll update this post when I get more info.

Might have to pay return shipping but that's better than buying new mats and paying shipping

I doubt you'll have to send them back, Lund had me send pictures of the running boards on my F150 when the powder coating started checking and they just shipped me a new set. They said to throw the old ones away.

Maybe, been in mine for 3 yrs now, not an issue......think it is more bout how you take care of the gear that makes it last or fail......

    Dunno for sure.....

I drove that truck twice a week and they still curled and shrunk. Weathertechs are like the Budweiser of floor mats

If they don’t warranty it I’d just put some black silicone to plug the hole

I would expect them to ship a replacement at no cost to you.

Looks like they will replace it for you under their warranty, but their disclaimer states you will be responsible for sending it back... may just depend on how cool the customer service rep is when they respond.
    Taken from their disclaimer:
"Husky Liners® will warrant any part during the warranty period that proves defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use, service, or maintenance. Customer will be responsible for returning alleged defective product to the manufacturer. Manufacturer will be responsible for shipping of replacement product to the customer once returned parts are received. Please have a copy of your purchase receipt available when you call."

I put 365K miles on a set across 2 trucks. Never wore through. Hopefully they will take care of you.

How in the world did you wear that area down? I've had mine for almost 4 years and they look brand new.

I would cut back on the high heels shoes. Flip flops or tennis shoes are easier on floor mats, I noticed.

I wear flip flops almost exclusively when not at work but my work dress code requires suits for men.
