My parents have weather tech mats in their truck- and they're a pain in the but to get perfectly clean. Anyone ever try Husky?

I have the Husky's. I like them. I haven't looked lately but I liked the way the Husky brand was molded over the retainer clips, where the Weather Techs had the holes in them to hold them in place. Since they are both fitted, I don't think either brand will move around once in place, and I didn't want holes in my floor mats. I just felt the Huskys would hold more crap in bad weather or if I spilled something in them.
I've been very satisfied with my Huskys and they clean up just fine with a spray of my favorite detailer and a few paper towels. If they're real dirty, I hose them down and scrub them with an old scrub brush.
    Mine are gray.

I've had weathertechs in the past and they were great, but got some sticky/ oily substance on the bottom of them that I could never get off. Plus, I've been hearing some bad reviews on weathertechs shipping lately, sending the wrong parts etc. I'll be getting Husky's soon hopefully

If I had to buy again, I'd get the Husky's again.

OP - If you’re MT, you’re limited to the Husky Weatherbeaters. They’re a semi hard plastic. IMO they’re a good compromise in durability vs not being too hard and plastic-y. Fairly easy to clean.

Husky all the way, super soft and nice cushion on your feet’s but extremely durable and easy to clean. Weather tech Ive heard is more for work trucks and are slippery.

Just bought a set of Smartliners (aka MaxLiner) for my wife’s Tahoe. Very happy with them. I have the Weathertechs in my Tacoma and these are every bit as good and not as spendy.

I have the Husky's. I believe I have the "Weatherbeaters" and I love them. Super easy to clean and they do a great job of collecting all of the dirt, rocks, water, etc that comes off of my boots while driving. I've never had WeatherTech mats in any of my vehicles personally but I've seen them in my friends cars and they did not look like they fit nearly as well.

Are those the mats that came with the Pro model? I saw some all weather mats listed on the toyota website but haven't seen a photo yet, If so, they look pretty decent for the extra $169 (if they're not already included).

Nope, as I said in my post those are Husky Weatherbeaters. I got the “TRD pro” stickers from a fella on TW. My truck only came with carpet mats.

Who did you get the sticker from? I could only find them for weathertech.

I've had both, weathertech in my last vehicle, and husky in my Taco. I like the Husky better, I find they cover better/fit better. The weathertech was harder/slippier. At the end of the day though, they're too very similar products and I would probably just buy whatever is having a better black friday sale in the future ;)

I have weathertechs on my 2018 6MT, maybe it just happened to be recently available.

Husky X-act countour for 2.5 years here. No complaints. Still like new, fit great. Rubber like, not hard plastic. Would buy again.

The dead pedal in the MT is narrower. If you bottom out the clutch pedal does it rub/catch in the mat?

If heard of people “heat moulding” the AT mats to work in the MT so the clutch doesn’t catch/rub.

I’ll take a closer look in detail but that’s something I’ve never felt or had to think about so far. Curious how well it molds now and will update with a few pics

I have owned Husky's in the past and they were great. Just opted for the Weathertechs for my new Tacoma and they shipped quick and fit perfectly. I do have the Toyota all Season floor mats, but wanted something that went higher around the sides, these will be my winter and "mud season" mats, the others will go back in my truck in May...

I’ve always had weathertech, but went with husky for this truck. I have to say the husky’s are super soft, I now much prefer them to the weathertech mats in the other car.
As to cleaning, I think it’s the same, you really have to scrub either brand with a nylon brush to get them totallly clean. I usually just hose them off and then wipe em dry, gets 80 percent of the dirt. Maybe every 3rd detail I bust out the scrubber to get them 100 percent.
