In all my previous vehicles I've gone with Weathertech and had no issues. With my 2016 Taco I decided to give Husky a try because of the price difference. Ever pick up a MotorTrend or Car and Driver and see a four page ad for Weathertech? They have to pay for all that advertising somehow. The Husky mats are a great product and I have zero complaints! Just wait until their website runs a 15% off sale to purchase.

I had Weathertech "laser fit" mats in a different vehicle for 3 years, was not super impressed with the fit as the material is firm and the mats slid around in the carpet.
I just bought the Husky X-Act for the Tacoma and am Very impressed with the fit, the nubs on the undersides to keep the mat from moving, and the softer material. I did cut the drivers mat under the accelerator pedal so the pedal does not bottom out on the mat.
I did not get the OEM rubber mats with my Tacoma.

I bought husky's in December and I love them. They fit perfectly! Eventually I'll have to replace them now since it won't be raining or I won't be heading to the mountains anytime soon.

The Toyota all weathers are better than nothing. I got them in my truck and replaced them after a week with Husky X-Act Contours that I picked up on sale from autoanything.com for $20 over the price of the Toyota mats. The Husky's are much better in fit and coverage than the Toyota mats. Gave the Toyota mats to my son for his '16 SR5.

Have the Tacoma all weather mats on my 2-day old truck and observed that the outer lip on these mats is maybe .5" tall, vs. the Husky mats I had on my Subaru Outback, where that lip was about 1". Might be an issue if you're getting in and out of your truck with snow-covered footwear, when after a time you've got a small puddle sloshing around your feet. On the plus side, the Tacoma mats have a tighter fit around the edge, which will prevent more stuff from getting in under the mats, which was a small problem with the Huskies. Tradeoff.

I have the weathertech and I'm completely satisfied. The coverage keeps the car rug really clean and the ease of taking them out and rinsing the off made them a no brained for me.
