We figured out pretty quick that it pooled between bars, but even with a 1.5" puddle, there was zero sepage. friend of a friend works at a plastic place, so we got some puckboard(not sure of tech name...stuff used on hockey boards) for cheap and slid that on top of bars, under canvas. problem solved...never looked back. it is a learning curve, but we have it semi permanent so we can whip the cover off and take it to upholstry shop for changes/add-ons. so some things in pics might look half assed, but they were only for trial and error purposes.

    enough to go over stuff
So this is what I came up with. I ended up getting a bestop off mj on TW for 300. Then I spent alittle over 300 on some custom bed bars from bamf. Now I have the best of both worlds. I have a place to put my RTT and a covered bed. The Rack is drying now. I should have it and the RTT on later today or tomorrow.

I've seen that DefconBrix has wrapped his Allpro rack in repurposed military canvas. I've been planning on doing the same thing.
