My foot is definitely off the gas. Wonder if there’s some way to test if it’s the transmission or not.

Installing seat covers yesterday. Battery replacement is gonna be a breeze. Don't have to reach up and over a fender!

I don’t know what you mean by the battery replacement being easier, but I like the seat covers! Deer blood should wipe off easily.

He's talking about the 12V auxiliary battery.

Not that it's the first vehicle to have the battery in the passenger compartment. Somev12vs go under the front seat, trunk or rear cargo area. Not that it's that far removed from being under the hood just onnthe other side of the fire wall. My only concern would be off gassing if the 12v iver charged. Not likely to happen and could cause an issue where ever the 12v located. Probably not a concern at all compared to all of the 48v hybrid battery next to it. Vehicles are built from toxic materials to begin with, but I wouldn't want to strap a car seat on top of any batteries, not that I would really be worried.

Mine has never done that. It’s simply when I’m coming to a stop (sometimes), the truck has little vibrations like it’s jumping forward a tiny bit.

But yours also does what mine does and it’s not a hybrid … it’s all very confusing :annoyed::annoyed:

The tundra people have the same thing. They say it’s the hybrid system switching from regenerative braking. I hope that’s what I’m feeling and it’s nothing. But again, @Gfenza89 says he feels the same thing but we could be experiencing different things that sound similar. Who knows.

Here’s the best way I can describe it. (As the truck completely comes to a stop there is a shudder/quick vibration that is felt through the truck but mainly from the rear end). Almost like driving over rumble strips not at this point the truck has already stopped moving

Yes so I can guarantee it’s the same thing, now at what miles did you first notice it?

The shudder the tundra guys are taking about is something completely different. Drive any hybrid vehicle and you’ll feel that I know what they are referring too and it’s something completely different

Something else I’ll add to my comment on the shudder vibration. Take your truck through a parking lot and drive real slow, slowly accelerate and stop and drive around, guarantee you’ll get the shudder and vibration constantly

ill try that specifically, but none of that sounds in any way familiar with my last 2,000 miles of driving
