I think I saw someone mention PVC pipe adapters, look in the plumbing or electrical section of the hardware store for the appropriate size. Should cost $5 or less

I here you on this! I got a 64 ounce flask that rides shotgun on my passenger front seat secured with a paracord and carabiner. I'll post a picture tomorrow. Could not find a cup holder that fits. looks like I'm gonna have to cut up my center console just behind my auto shifter on my 2013 taco. I did check the hardware stores for PVC couplings and the like to retrofit but no such luck.

I know how that is. I use a 32oz Nalgene and I have nowhere to stick it in the truck.

My Frontier had pull outs in the cupholder to suit bigger cups and my HF would fit perfectly. When I made the swap, I was a little upset because my Taco didn't have anywhere to store it.

If nobody is in the passenger seat, I'll keep my bottle there. Sucks though cause if you stop fast enough there's a chance it'll roll off. If there's somebody in the passenger seat, I'll keep it on my side so it's between the door and the seat. Good spot there because it won't go anywhere, but I will forget sometimes and it'll fall when getting out; already have some dings on it because of it too.

which is why I came up with the paracord and carabiner mod. the 64 oz. HF remains upright and secured. Paracord is adjustable.

Not a bad idea, and I do have some paracord to make something similar, but not sure if I'd like having to go through the extra of unhooking it to take a drink.

Might have to look into the cupholder adapter, but doubt I'll pull the trigger on one.

Just bought a 64 oz thanks to this thread. I have kidney stones, and I haven't been drinking enough water. Having that with me through out the day should help out.

Thanks for making me spend money and look out for my health.

I get it if you're doing physical work, out on the road all day or if you have a medical condition requiring hydration (e.g. kidney stones). Seems like everywhere I go people are holding some form of fluid container and can't go 30 seconds without taking a hit off of it. A glass or two of water between meals and maybe a soda/coffee thrown in at some point and I'm more than set for the day. Not busting balls, just wondering what's up.

I have a bad habit of just not taking in fluids, and that's a huge contributor to stones. At one point I carried a gallon everywhere I went. I finally started drinking water cause it was always with me. A gallon is just so big and kind of tacky. This will be good for me to carry around and always have cold water with me.

I have my 32 oz. Bubba Keg filled with ice water that is in my cup holder everywhere I go. 17 years ago I had a cooler full of ice cold Budweiser sitting in the passenger floorboard. (Always had a cold beer in my hand) Would you rather me be driving impaired or carry my Bubba Keg with ice water everywhere I go?

    Enough said....

I like the Hydroflask because it won't sweat like other bottles. I can fill it with cold water and it won't get everything in my bag wet, won't get my seat wet, or get the counter all wet at work. I'm a nurse, and can't just walk off the unit when I want a drink, so a water bottle makes it convenient.
