yea, the stock bulbs either don't bounce or are not bright enough to tell. Not sure which.
Tried swapping the stock gaskets around a bunch, no help.
I hear farther up in the thread there are new gaskets available? Anybody try those?

I have have morimoto powerhouse one's (it was available as a complete kit back in april). Haven't notice any shaking on mine. I haven't connected the option to run the 50w on the fly but considering running it instead of the 35w. For those running 50w, any issues with heat or housing issues in general?

I have the same ones. They work great, no shakes.

The 50W boost is really nice. You should definitely hook it up. You can see them kick in brighter on top of the high beams. No issues with heat. The OE halogen bulbs run hotter.

I take it you dont run the 50w as your primary, only with the HB activated? I dont have the splitter yet to run 50w and HB at the the same time...was thinking about just connecting for 50w on the fly no HB haha. Ill hook them and run them tomorrow on my way to work.

It won't run as primary unless you have a constant signal coming in from the trigger line. I guess you could hook it up to your low beam as the trigger, but I don't see the point of doing that. If that's the case, just get a 50w ballast.

Got new higher density grommets from TRS, but they are still shaky...not too much improvement.

I just bought a set of the Xenon Depot extreme HIDs for headlight housings that I previously had the Morimotos in.

I’m finding now the xenon Depot bulbs aren’t compatible with the mounts for the morimotos...anyone see an easy fix or am I stuck with the morimoto bulbs for this particular retrofit?

The white collar on the xenon Depot bulb won’t allow it to seat fully.

What fitment did you get from XD?

Looks like it says H4 on it. Do you have Morimoto Mini H1 projectors? Those lamps take H1 fitment bulbs.

Wow. Good catch. The company that originally did the retrofit doesn't do them anymore so I can't be 100% sure, but it does look exactly like the morimoto mini H1s doesn't it. Looks like I'll have to send the H4 back and swap for some H1s. Thank you.
