I replaced the tail lights with LEDs and added a resistor. I still have the hyper flash issue. Do I have to also replace headlights with LEDs to eliminate the hyper flash?

1st gen - it's got a built engine, a turbo, and waaaaaaay too much to list. 3rd gen - basic-bitch lift, S/C, Pro Wheels
Is the resistor wired into the correct circuit?

No, you do not have to have multiple LEDs to cure hyper flash with a resistor, if anything, that will make it worse because you continue to decrease the load on the system with LEDS.

Make sure the resistor is wired properly. It doesn't go inline but goes from positive to negative.

Are you sure it is on the turn signal wire and not the brake light wire? Can you post a picture of how you have the system wired? You should not be hyperflashing if you installed the resistor correctly.

Got a pic or know which wires specifically that you added the resistor to? I have LEDs all around with resistors only in the fronts and have no hyper flash issues.

No pic now. Took off the resistor after the frustration. I'll try again when I have time either this weekend or next week.

Are they cheap bulbs? I tried to save money and bought shit-cheap ones and they hyper-flashed. Ended up buying these and no problems!

For that price, might as well get the MESO total tails!

Should have started off by saying, "This isn't my truck" and looking at the actual bulbs. So during my lunch break I asked my neighbor to bring their truck back to my house. I took at look at the bulbs themselves and the bulbs were incorrect. Once I swapped the bulbs around there was no more hyper flashing...

Thanks for ALL of your responses, I really appreciate them!!

Make sure those resistors are mounted to metal away from wiring because those things get extremely hot
