Hypertech Speedo Calibration for 2019?

Glad to hear someone with a 2019 found a calibrator that works. I need to do some research on this one.

 

Yeah, it was a small risk buying it, but it worked out

 

Very interesting. I had it but never installed it as when I researched it and reached out to roughcountry and hypertech who makes it i was told it does not work for the 2019.

what size tires are you running? Maybe it corrects speedo and not other aspects of the truck like cruise control and that’s why they say it’s not compatible?

 

I run 255/85/16s. AFAIK, it only correct speedo, nothing else. Actually, when I set it on cruise control, the CC speed it displays is the uncorrected speed. Only the main speedo is corrected.

 

If you change gear ratios, are you able to input that info also?

 

I don't remember if it has gear ratio and I can't check the software options without the device being connected. Anyway, I have 4.88 and it wasn't a problem

 

The Hypertech has gear ratio correction.

 

Looks like this is tough to get in California so wanted to see if anyone was able to get one previously in Southern California and I could meet up and pay them to calibrate mine with their module? My truck is a 2020 if that matters. Let me know. Thanks guys

 

Doesnt work like that. Module has to be connected between dash and speedo input. Once you disconnect it you get stock readout
