This is not Bob's "shoe" thread!

I'll tell you what I'm going to do... I'm going to pm that guy that said he lives by Yankee hill and I'm going to find out how much snow happened there.

Not too terrible much here. Really want to get out on a trail tomorrow.

and, since it was Andy who asked, reminds me I need to study a bit and figure out when I can take the ham test

I have the book I read if you want it. I may try to go see josh at rci today and could bring it with me. Do you by chance have the step bit to drill out the hole for the lca sids? Lowe's wants some ridiculous cash for it

I just used a regular bit. Easy stuff. It wasn't like drilling the frame for sliders. If you want to swing by we can take care of it.

So what's the secret to installing the RCI front skid? I lined it up and went to thread the bolts under the radiator as per the directions and they did not work.

The key is to pick it up and ask josh to put it on while you are there

What if I don't want to drive 90 minutes to install a couple skid plates? Sorry but that's a waste of both my time and Josh's time. I installed my last all pro skid in 10 minutes. Maybe he gave me the incorrect hardware or something

Oh, I didn't know that. Yeah I pulled those off when I removed the stock skid because if you don't then they just hang out exposed.

    Shit.
