More than likely will never leave the pavement. Just because you get a truck doesn’t mean you need to use it off-road. Lol.

Closest I’d get to “off-road” would be driving up some dirt roads to camp ground and whatnot.

Also, I don’t have Instagram. Haha.

Thanks for the info on the armor! I’ll definitely keep it in mind.

Ohhhhhh!!! Thanks for the clarification. Lol. Yeah, I’ve actually seen that a few times and been like “ewwwww”. Adding it to my list now. Thank you!

Any idea how to remove it offhand. I can search on here if not. I’m guessing just a few bolts holding it in place?

I just looked up the retrax one. Looks nice! Not sure if I want to spend $1000 on it. Maybe if someone cuts mine up I will. Haha.

Only downside to it is it still takes up like 4” of bed space. When I put my mountain bikes in my truck they literally take up every inch. Back tire up against the cab as well. I’ll check them out some more though!

Mannnnnnn. I’ve thought a lift and new rims/tires. I like how they look. But idk shit about fuck when it comes to that stuff. I don’t want to half ass it and end up needing to replace stuff that gets worn out quicker because of it.

And there’s a million threads on here about it. Too overwhelming and a lot of misinformation to weed through. :(

Honestly, unless you want to hack up your truck, I wouldnt get 35s.

But some aftermarket wheels and a turbo kit would be freaking sweet on that thing

Not sure if you have kids or grandkids, but my daughter enjoys watching movies on the dvd headrests I installed in mine. I even added some TRD decals to them.

Yeah. That’s pretty much what I’ve told myself. I’m happy with how it looks now. I don’t really have a need for a lift and new wheels. I think it would just be introducing the potential for problems down the road.

    Turbo kit? I’m intrigued. Lol

I actually really like the wheels on it now. I’m gonna stick with these. Maybe if they get messed up I’ll start looking into others though!

Full BedRug. It makes using the bed more useful with cargo not sliding around and it protects the plastic for getting marred up. I ended up using my bed more for sitting back there and sleeping in it with my over the top tent.
The Meso Puddle Lights are awesome though. I've had them for a couple of months...if you can get them.

Thanks for idea! My daughter is 18. I can barely get her to talk to me, let alone want to drive anywhere with me. Haha

I’ve got the bed mat back there. It keeps my stuff from sliding around. Any real difference in that and the rug you’re talking about?
I’m 100% getting the MESO puddle pods as soon as I see he has more. Signed up for emails and I keep an eye on this site so hopefully I catch the next batch. Lol

It works better than the mat with cargo sliding around but what I most like is that it is more inviting and comfortable for people/me to hang out in or sit on my tailgate because they are not getting cooked from the plastic bed that has been baking in the southwest sun. I also have a tonneau cover (a bakflip) and they seem to compliment each over.

I bought them on Amazon last year and unfortunately they don’t appear to have them listed any longer. Here is a link to the manufacturer info sheet for them though. You may be able to purchase them from another website. Just do some homework and read reviews before buying them. I like the ones I have, but in comparison I returned a competitors model that looked very similar due to poor audio and video before I bought the Boss audio ones.
