As my headline says, I’m looking for a specific model configuration and thought someone here might have a lead that AutoTrader and the other apps might not have listed. Here’s the specs

2022 or 2023 Tacoma TRD Off-Road, Access Cab, 6ft bed, Barcelona Red.
No accidents. Preferably under 40K miles. Equipped with hardtop tonneau and bed extender would be awesome, but it seems even the Access cab with 6 ft bed alone makes my selection something of a unicorn.

I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia. The closest I could find was dual cab in Colorado. I suspect the owner of this car likes it like I do so it’s not listed for sale but maybe is looking to get something larger and is willing to let me know it’s for sale.

I actually bought an older model with these specs off Carvana recently and fell in love but my mechanic and the Carvana mechanic found serious oil leaks and estimated $6K in repairs so I had to return under their 7-day return policy. So the search continues. Sorry if I broke any etiquette on the forum. First post.

Scrubbed some tires, and knocked a dent out.
Sit and wait and be prepared to travel or settle for something slightly diff than what your looking for.

What I had to do anyways ..

Yeah, I hear you. I’m seriously considering the road trip back from Colorado. It would be a great way to get to know her

It took me a little over a year to find my V6 AC MT
I DGAF about the color but I lucked out and got the best color
Had 62K on it when I bought it 4 years ago

I searched Autotrader neurotically and ran the VIN of every truck that came close to what I wanted
Went and looked at a few but they were rust buckets

I was about to give up and go test drive a 3rd gen AC with an automagic, to be sure I would hate it..
But the same day, my truck popped up 3hr south of me so I called about it
It was listed wrong - it was listed as a sport not an OR - I ran the VIN and verified, then when I called I asked them to verify

They then told me I had until 1200 the next day to get down there or else [they were nice about it]
Then they called me back and asked how I was paying for it - I was the first one to call, so I had dibs and they respected that
[Shout out to Hardee Auto Sales in Conway, SC]

    Good Luck!!

AC are rare to begin with - once I added the MT to my criteria, it was definitely a unicorn!

I'd say a Colorado truck is worth a cross-country trip to get one that's been in an area where frame corrosion isn't an issue. My current Gen 1 is a Colorado truck, and my Gen 2 is a San Diego truck -- both brought back to Saint Louis, where I was living at the time.

I expect any future used vehicles I buy will be from the Southwest. They really are worth the trip.

I had a few that matched this description on my list before I found mine, let me see if the listings are still up!

All that's left from my list is a 22 OR dual cab in army green. 6ft bed tho. Its actually at the same dealer where I got mine.

When I was still on the hunt I used Edmund's and Carfax too. Unfortunately most of the dealer stock I saw in philly suburbs was SR5 or base. Had to go out to Red Lion to get mine
