I’m new but my Tacoma is old. 2001 Prerunner with 300k wants to start but can’t

So I have a 2001 Tacoma with a 3.4 and I’m having this very odd problem that some of you are very aware and familiar with. All of the sudden one day last week I go to start the car and it runs for 1.2 seconds and then turns off. So I’m thinking to myself fuel pump and filter, well that was wrong. So now I’m going to change the Cranks sensor and pray a lot. I need to the feel pump and filter anyway but I’m chasing my tail looking for the real slim shady. I’ve had this truck for 18 years And drive it like a baby together we put 300,000 miles going back-and-forth from Canada to Mississippi, if any of y’all have some idea what my get me going again.
