My stock suspension TRDOR long bed is really saggin in the rear. Back there is my Leer topper. Passenger side rail
Mount has my high lift and 4 Maxtrax and the drivers side an axe and shovel. Also running an arb rear summit bumper.

I’m sagging low and leaning to the passanger side.

No plan for a lift, but wondering if an add a leaf would correct this issue or if I should consider something else.
    TIA TW!

Probably want to swap out your leafs for a heavier duty. As the add a leaf will sag.

Add a leaf for sure, the extra weight will fatigue the springs quickly and eventually break pre maturely.

Your truck is young enough that the pack in the rear still has lots of life, so I would start with an AAL and go from there.

    I'd swap the leaf pack.

I've got ICON RXT leafs and i've been very happy with it. Replacing the pack is pretty easy

    U will still be lopsided

    predominant driver sags left front

U could try balancing Ur weight diagonally...........truck has more bias left side weight from factory

U could try AIR bags As U can differentiate side to side

you just need to total up your weight and you can get the springs to compensate. You might end up slightly higher but not more than an inch or two.

You could also just add airbags in the rear. It would level it up and give you good support until you choose a lift.

But then you have to decide if you want to add on board air or check the pressure often.

I also found air ride to be jarring when over 30psi. I find its good for leveling when loaded, but for full time load, springs are the answer.

Add a leaf is just a bandaid. Poor one at that. If you do anything go full leaf pack. Probably close to or over payload already with your accessories.

This sucks that this happens on our trucks but the rear leaf springs leave a lot to be desired. I went with the AAL and have regretted it since. Like people before me have commented, it’s a bandaid at best.

    Buy once, cry once.

So you never upgraded your suspension with the topper ?? It’s a good idea to do suspension all the way around prior to a topper due to weight . The stock setup is not designed for long term weight . I would do a full suspension at this point not just the rear .

I have a LB with a heavy ARE cap and some permanent weight in the bed in a lockable plastic bin. I added Sumo Springs 612-40s and am happy with them. Normally they are off the frame, but with my added weight they are touching and it raised it up enough to have 1/2" of rake. I like how they ride and firm up the feel when turning etc. Eventually I'll probably do a lift and add heavier leaf springs, but for now it seemed like a decent cost effective and durable solution.

Correct, I have not touched the suspension at all. Started to do all of the math and noticed the sag, hence my post. Trying to learn my options here.
