Is $2000 a fair asking price for a parts truck? Frame is good, engine, trans, 4wd good. New UCA, New Bilstein 5100 all around, new LBJ.

I would pay $2k for that if I was close to you.

The photo suggests the frame rail is bent:

What's your angle? Looking to buy the truck back for salvage value and sell the parts yourself? Your other thread last week shows the the frame had severe rust and was repaired with a Safe-T-Cap. That would make the frame unappealing for parts sale.

See my frame swap rebuild. It’s toast but not gone yet! If it still starts okay that is!

All kinds 3 inch body lift/2 1/2 suspension lift. 31/11 1/2/15 tires All work done by myself for years. The only work performed by mechanic was fuel pumps. I also have a 90 Mustang 350 hp and I can never understand how come my Tacoma gets more respect Just got a 99 Jeep TJ that I rebuilt, and painted in the garage
R.I.P. old truck. That would be my saddest day in a long time considering I have been in mine for over twenty years. We have become quite close.

I sold for $2300. The frame did not have severe rust. It had rust over the passenger rear wheel and was repaired with safe T cap. Mechanic who did the work told me the rest of the frame was very clean.

So I got into a crash with mine, obviously not as bad. Paid 2k out of pocket, didn't go through insurance so it didn't spike it. 20221006_182630.jpg

My dad got rear ended then pushed into a front end, and insurance didn't total it. It looked real bad, but we got 4700 from insurance to fix it, then sold it for 3600. I don't have pics of it, but it had similar front end damage, and the rear axle got pushed forward and diagonally. Corvettes are killers man.
