Damn wifey kicked me off for getting too heated lol. Good to know there are sensible people on here however. From the fact that more often than not, things don't go bad, to taking a look at your environment. I must be super evil and deserving of punishment at all times, being Military LE and all

Im sorry to say this man, but what you did was dumb, really dumb. I dont mean to offend you and i hope you take this as good advice but lets stop and thing about things for a second. Things could have escalated very quickly. You had a gun, he might of had a gun, and next thing you know, shoot out. Then you're either dead, or in prison for 20yrs. Im not saying what the kid was doing was right and you did well for taking action. However, the best thing for you to have done is call the cops. That way he gets arrested, you get to watch, and the female and baby are happy for atleas another day or two. Next time think about your family man. My uncle was stabbed to deat by 2 15yr old because he broke up their little fist fight. Worst fucking feeling in the world when you lose someone you care about. Im sure you dont want to put your family through that.

You may call it dumb, I call it being a man. Other than calling the cops next time, I'd do it the exact same way.

There is a time to mind your own business and all, but not when some two bit punk ass is treating his woman like that, regardless if she is thrash or not.

I think packer handle things the right way. Calling the cops might take too long. I don't know about you here but Where I live it takes a cop 5-10 minutes to responding to a fight. Packer wasn't Recklessly handling or displaying his gun, it was in his holster. For all we know Packer might have just stopped that guy from exploding into rage and taking it all out on his girlfriend.

Shift and 3.4L. Please remain in your liberal slums. We in the free world have no use for your cower in fear and let the gubment fix it mentality. I recommend you not come down to the sovereign state of Texas. I often carry while working on my property, and have under numerous occasions engaged in a bit of target practice in my own back yard. Packerfan, kudos for stopping what could have been an ugly situation.

Now hopefully he doesn't come back to packer's house looking for round 2. Some people are crazy and just don't care.

Just asking and don't want to get into a internet fight. If you out weighed him by 50lbs why did you bring a gun? If he had assaulted you were you prepared to kill him for arguing with his girlfriend? If you felt you needed to bring a gun to stop him from arguing with his girlfriend, why would you risk your life or your families life? Like I said I'm not trying to start a fight but Ive rolled up on a few situations that didn't go the " good samaritans " way.

i would have brought a gun if i outweighed the guy by that much too.... just in case he pulled one on me... he would have gotten a bullet through his head. better safe than sorry.

True. Domestic violence situations don't always work out well.

Read the OP...he was already carrying. He carries a lot, apparently, and it was on his hip. Why waste time by taking it off his hip? It's his right to carry a gun, so he carries. He did the right thing.
