I suffered a stroke while snowmobiling a few years back...no pain just extreme dizziness with loos of coordination, and slurring speech. Was able to get to the nearest hospital before becoming worse where they suspected a stroke. I had an mri, and a cat scan that confirmed it a day later after my right side was totally paralyzed. Once released a week later it was a long recovery to this day.

    Hey!

I'm actually doing pretty good. Just got done having COVID last week, aside from chest pain and dizziness I took COVID pretty well.

Overall my only lingering issues are leg pain and frozen feet. I've been able to jog, ride a bike, and a few other things, still need to work on running though.

Thanks! I'm doing pretty good now.

Nope, I don't need any walking aids, I sometimes lose my balance though.

Merry Christmas. Glad you are ok. Did they ever confirm West Nile? I know that was high on the list at one point.

Wow Erik, this had to be scary as hell for you and your loved ones. I don't know how did I miss this? This is the first that I have seen this thread.
I'm glad you are doing better. God speed and Merry Christmas.
If you need help wrenching on your truck sometime, I have tools, a bit of mechanical ability, and a truck (lol).

Glad you made it to the point you are at today! Keep a positive attitude and don't ever give up.

You might try reducing the resistance level (or lowest gearing) to minimum and just use easy spinning to minimize the swelling under the knee caps. Hope you continue to recover until all this will be history for you and you will have beat it.
