same thing happened to me dood!!! SCARY SHIT!!! i was changing my brakes about 4 months ago with the stock jack. i DONT know why i did this but i put the jack on the driver side lower control arm...

SO i jacked up the truck and it was supported on three wheels with the driver side front wheel suspended with me sitting on the ground straddling the hub with the wheel removed. i began to remover the security pins from the brakes when i heard a groan. comming from the jack. i ignored it... let me repeat. idk what was i thinkin. i must have been low on sleep or sumthing... well the jack slipped off the control arm and the spindle came crashing down inbetween my legs brushing my rightankle. it bruised badly but if my ankle was an inch more to the left it would have been gone.

    i learned my lesson.

Wow dude. Glad you can still keep your foot.

I'm surprised that happened while it was still on 3 wheels. Trippy.

It just seemed so much more convenient to jack from there, cuz it's so much closer to the ground...WRONG.
