i have a few "Wish List" level fishing trips in mind. this one crept into my mind 20 years ago, and now it is finally coming to fruition. i got my flight itenerary in Portuguese!! i am reluctantly scratching out a check for the balance today.

i am flying to Brazil to try and catch PEACOCK BASS!! how my wife green lighted this for me is a miracle. i am going with a friend and my brother.

we fly on a floatplane to some remote part of the river, and sleep on a houseboat. 6 days of chasing giants!! i am bringing one high-end travel rod and will use the guides rods mostly. i will pack my own familiar reels.

    October is gonna be fun!!!

the other two bucket list fishing trips will be a tall order. i should just scratch them off now. hahah

That sounds like it will be a blast! I'm hoping to go on a fishing expedition like this one day.

Assuming you'll be on the Amazon?
