I am leaving the tacoma scene for a little while, i have picked up a 2013 Satin White Pearl Subaru WRX limited hatchback. Super excited ive wanted one for a long time, so bye bye truck for a little bit. I figure though I will buy another tacoma when the time comes, but till then so long

Do you mean stand still or rolling launch?

    Congrats man!!!

I would love a lifted Tacoma and a WRX or STi with a nice subby rumble in my driveway. I'm almost 1/2 way there hahaha

    Awww ok ok
I traded my MazdaSpeed6 (Turbo AWD) for my Tacoma and ya stand still launches will destroy a clutch and driveline in no time. My buddy owns a Subby dealer and its crazy the amount of clutch replacements they do.

    Camaro SS?

    Back On Topic...

    Nice car, you'll love it

its true that the 5spd on the wrx is "weaker" than the very stout 6spd sti trans. but the newer wrx trans (i want to say 2011+) is a revised transmission, so it can handle more power. still not as much as the sti, but no where near the glass cannon it was with the older wrxs.

I had an 09 same color and package. Got rid of it in 2011 and still regret it. I'll get another one someday. Congrats and great choice.

wrx isnt over priced when you look at an sti price tag and the sti isnt THAT much more impressive then a wrx, a few bolt ons and your good to go

back when i bought my Si, a wrx was my other choice but couldnt afford the insurance at 18

So I'm on the other side, I have a 2011 WRX Limited with 26,000 miles approx. Looking to buy a Tacoma 4x4 DCLB, I'm sure I would have better luck selling the WRX on my own but can be a pain dealing with people and not sure if I can wait. Maybe just trade her in, I'll check what the dealer will give me, i'm sure not what I want. Anyone want to buy a sweet Subbie that has been babied. All stock, she has a factory installed STI short throw shifter no accidents and 100,000 mile warrantee.
