Thanks. Yeah its just for looks. About the only thing I will ever do is tow a boat or something. My front shocks are shot though so I have to replace them. Since I am doing that, I might as well do the coils too.

So I have been looking at getting the 851s (really dont want to get their heave model) and originally the 5100's for front and rear. But now after reading here and looking on toytec I guess Im leaning on just ordering the OME shocks as well and not the bilsteins.

Somehere here said that the OME shocks were a lower pressure charge and had more oil which was better for fade etc. I have to tell you, I dont know the 1st thing about shocks other than how to put one in. I originally wanted the 5100's because they were adjustable but from what I have read here, you dont want to have them adjusted out with the OME springs because then youre preloading them even more.

Sigh......Im also going to get the AAL for the rear. Someone recommend one to me that will give me some lift but in addition add increased weight capacity etc.

    Thanks guys!

Well I just got off the phone with Toytec and they recommended the OME 882 springs and matching shocks for the front.

An AAL for the rear that'll give me 2" lift (it doest say though wether it will give me a little more payload capacity though.)

BUT for the rear, they said they would go with the Procomp 1000 nitrogen filed gas shocks over the OME oil filled. They said that they would probably give a better ride in the rear.

What do you all think about that as the rear shock option

There is NO WAY any Procomp shock is better than OME. Even if Chuck Norris built the procomps.
