    ...hear me roar!

Left SC at 4pm yesterday, stopped in Landover MD at 6am finally. I am extremely impressed with the performance of my truck and it's lack of 4wd. Could I have used it? Absolutely. Did I need it? No. By the time I got off I95 NOBODY should've been out there, including the SWB Sport 4X4 that flew by me in NO VA and ended up in a guardrail. If you're out there, hope you're OK that you learned a valuable lesson: just because you have 4 drive wheels doesnt mean you can stop any better than me.

All in all, a pretty shitty night. Will still be here at Holiday Inn Express tonight, who knows what tomorow will bring. Hopefully the plows can work some magic. 22" of snow is no joke. I'll probably never have use for it again (we usually fly to NJ) but I will most likely get 4wd next after this though.

    Be safe everyone.

I left Scottsdale yesterday afternoon at 4:30. Flew into Baltimore/Washinton (BWI) Airport at 11PM last night. It was 74 degrees when I left Scottdale. BWI is fairly close to where where Wilson the Dog's picture was taken. It took me 4 hours to drive 40 miles home; not because my 4X4 had even a minute of problems but because of the other people on the road.

Trust me, you don't miss the snow! I should have stayed in Scottsdale.

I hate that...people seem to have trouble realizing 4x4 purely helps you get/keep going and improves vehicle control in low-traction conditions. It means absolutely fuckall when it comes to *stopping*.

I see way too many people drive way too fast in 4WDs and trying to brake to a stop...

Remember folks...engine braking, and LOOOOOOOOONG following distances! Stay safe out there!

This is how my morning started. Before you laugh, remember this is a GA truck. It never saw white stuff.

I love driving in the snow in my 4x4 Tacoma. Getting a Nor'Easter tonight and expected to have 12" in Boston. Can't wait to use my new snowblower too.
