My 2018 TRD Off Road was the worst vehicle i've ever owned. I'm sure I could have liked it maybe if it was $27k OTD new. The price people pay for these things in today's climate adds to the insanity. I fail to see how it's really any better than a 2nd gen Tacoma or a 2nd gen Frontier.

I remember when pick up trucks were cheaper alternatives to cars. I had a Ford Ranger in the 80’s. I think I pad low teens? Then leased a Chevy s-10 late 90’s for like 200 a month. Now the Pro is close the the price of my 2021 ES350 Fsport. Some Silverado trims are more .

WTF. Time to bring back the Daewoo.

I beg to differ my 2020 is much better than any frontier 2020. I agree on what these dealers are getting away with the pricing these days, but imo, we only have ourselves to blame for paying them.

Biggest piece of shit I ever owned was a Nissan. I suffered ownership of that hunk of junk until I sold it in disgust. Small sample size, but when you owned 6 trouble-free Toyota’s, in speaks volumes to me. I’d rather drive a Camry than own any pickup made by Nissan.

I would have already dumped mine but nothing really to go to with current used/new market so I will get rid of my 2020 when there is something for me to go to or I end up getting this deal on a old airstream that is far too big for the Tacoma to pull.

The harsh reality is the 3rd gen is basically rehashed 2nd gen with cost cutting measures and a facelift.

Open channel frame in the center That despite this still rusts away
Easily the worst engine and transmission in the market segment
Made in Thailand rear diff that howls
Drum brakes left over from 1979
An audio system out of a Yaris where the speaker bias is trash
    No NVH engineering
Now all out sourced to Mexico

It's a 30k truck new at the top of the market with all the features it's missing

He came here and said "Oh shit, Itchy says they suck!" and drove as fast as he could to buy a Ridgeline.

The reality was they tried to launch their boat and found out this truck is so weak it can't even launch a standup jet ski without looking bad. So Ridgeline is was.

It’s in the Toyota app. 4th from the top I think. Maybe it’s hidden?

Show me on the doll where the bad Tacoma touched you. You must have been severely traumatized based on how much time you spend on here whining. Keep spreading the word of your victimhood and maybe you will get the attention you seem to need.

    You go girl!

Hmmm that’s weird. Yeah, I just found a YouTube video from Toyota that explains it but it’s nowhere to be found on my app. I’m still using the free trial of safety connect, maybe I have to buy a subscription to get access?

i just clicked “share my driving habits with Toyota” so maybe Pulse is only available after you’ve clicked that since they base your score on your driving habits.

Oh shit, someone broke out the “show me on the doll where the (fill in the blank) touched you” line.

Shit just got real in here.

To be fair, I loved mine until you posted that.

    Now I’m on the fence.

There's some on here that have battered spouse syndrome. They think one more mod, just a tune maybe a set of tires, lift and they'll be happy.
