I'm changing the axles and putting my lower ball joint back on the ARM with the 4 bolts. The torque spec is 103 lb-ft.

I set the wrench for 70,80,90, then 100 lb-ft. I got clicks all the way through 90 lb-ft, then I manage to sheer a bolt.

Of course what's left of the bolt is stuffed in the control arm and I think I need to disassemble it again.

    Thoughts?

I believe the 103 is for the castle nut, NOT the four bolts. The 4 bolts are 59 ft lbs...

They make bolt extractor bits. You can find them at hardware stores or home depot type places. It's a funny little cone shaped bit. drill a hole in the bolt, and stick this bit in there and reverse it out. That usually works.

But yeah, next time make sure you're using the right torque for the right bolts...

F^#*!. I thought it seemed a bit excessive.
I looked at "Lower suspension arm x Lower ball joint - 103"
Now I see it now "Steering knuckle x Lower ball joint - 59"

Yup is the bolts that connect #4 with N#13.

So how do I get that beast out of there? Ideas.

The next question is does anyone know the P/N or spec of those bolts?

Note to self check the smarter people on TW before torquing bolts.

I always buy new ones every time I take them apart now. I've broke the head off one or two before, luckily on the inner side of the spindle, so I twisted them through & out.
