Sweet ride! I like the look of the reg. cab Toyotas. That short wheelbase get you places with ease, where others have trouble. Looks well thought out. Nice job!

Never knew that any of the portable power station companies offered an alternator charging option. I might have gone that route instead of a dual battery if I'd known.

It's wild!!! i found out in the last year. what a game changer. bluetti's does 560w andecoflows does 800w!!! I believe they came out pretty recently. solar is great for supplemental, but relying on it left me in some unfavorable positions. Crazy to me to get more charge from my truck than my AC outlet at home. Powerbastards high output alternator was also essential for me with the stock 80 amps already pushed to its limits

Awesome build, man! What's 70mph like in this thing? Are you screaming in 4th at 3400 RPMs? Also, what's your fuel economy like? I get 17 tops with a GFC, stock gears, and 33s on my regular cab 5MT.

Thanks brotha! I cruise over 80mphno problem. It's really as if none of it is on there. The components in the rear definitely help, especially road active suspension! The flippac weighs less than 300lbs and I kept my buildout pretty light. I still need to calculate my MPG with everything that is on here. Last i checked I was getting 11mpg with my old slide in
I would expect it to be over 16mpg. I'll try to calculate in the next week

Very rad, man! With the slide in on my access cab (also a 4 banger with the manual transmission) I got between 12.5 and 15.5mpg - usually got the best traveling around 55mph. The set up was comfortable as hell and rode great on Deaver Stage IIIs. Decided it was probably a little too big for my regular cab so parted ways with it a little while back. The regular cab came with the Go Fast so running that until I decide what will go on there next. Trying to keep it lighter weight so I can stay as capable as possible. Been thinking about re-gearing, though, so cool to see your build with the 5.29s!

When did you re-gear? Before the campers or after?

helllll yeahhh, that's a sweet setup! and yeah same with how mine was. that slide in was super nice and convenient. I re geared when I picked up that sunlite eagle SB. I knew I had to when I took that sketchy drive home with it hahah. Any pictures with the GFC?

Very nice! I don't have a real interior build in the GFC yet, but have been some pretty places and live out of the back just fine for extended trips.

Helllll yeahhhhh, that's a super capable setup right there. and if you want at least something temporary for the interior, foldable ottomans worked great for me! I still have some of them in there. really high weight capacity, and weigh barely anything. super convenient to be able to just fold them up and put away as well. can be used as a step or a seat

Interested to hear about your mileage with the 5.29s when you have some calculated. Also, was wondering how you landed on the 5.29s instead of the 4.88s. I'm having a tough time finding accounts of the 5.29s in the regular cab 5MT. Seems like half of the third gen automatic DCSBs or DCLBs has re-geared, but not a lot of the regular cab folks chiming in :).

Since I knew I was going to be running a camper with my gear all loaded, I decided that being geared for a slightly larger tire would work best with all the extra weight. Surely seems to have been the right choice to me! I also had 5.29 gears in my 85 4runner. I also may go to 37s, but this setup has been working so well I haven't done that yet. I feel it is working too perfectly
