    Works same way on 3rd gen, by is tied to cargo b d light above rear window. I have this option on my truck and mine works fine.

    I sold a few of them in the 2nd gen marketplace and kept one. It's a STARR powdercoated black with a Japan spec black decal. I added the red vinyl underneath.

    Did you do anything special to mount it or did you just screw it into the bed?

    I drilled smaller pilot holes first before screwing it in with the supplied hardware.

    Took it to the dealer and they swapped them out. They were getting power to them, guess the lights were just bad. Work like a charm now!

    Take it back to the dealer. I don't know why people are suggesting that you solve the issue. F-that...you paid 40k for this truck EVERYTHING should be working.
