Heel toe is only used when you’re braking hard and want to blip the throttle to rev match on a downshift while continuing to brake. You don’t need to bother unless you’re pushing super hard.

It’s definitely fun when you’ve mastered it and you snap off a perfect heel toe shift braking into a corner. I installed wider aftermarket pedal covers on my VW back in the day. Left foot braking is fun too.
